# A Rap Duo From Two Selfies: Notes on the Hotel Lobby AI Trend

The Hotel Lobby trend is two friends rapping in an orange-lit booth like they own the place. It’s funny precisely because it looks expensive.

Framecomet’s Hotel Lobby AI video generator makes it from two selfies, or one photo of the two of you together. You type your names and an occasion, and it writes a short verse around them, adds a beat and returns a 12-second rap duo clip. There are a few stages to choose from beyond the classic lobby booth.

Why it works as a gift or a group-chat moment:

• The lyrics mention you by name, so it feels made for the people in it.
• Birthdays, anniversaries and inside jokes all make good occasions.
• Twelve seconds is short enough that people watch it twice.

Tip: pick photos where both faces are about the same size. It keeps the duo balanced on screen. Everything runs in the browser at framecomet.com.
