CheQuers for Friends and Family Groups Checkers is often the first strategy game a family learns, because the rules are short and the board is clear. CheQuers keeps that welcome, but adds three opponents and a promotion adjustment that gives every game a new talking point. For a group game, the best approach is to keep the pace friendly: explain the promotion change once, let players ask about jumps as they go, and celebrate good defensive moves as much as captures. The shared board does the rest. Try the four-player checkers game from Quess Gaming. It is available digitally, while the physical edition design is complete and Kickstarter funding is sought for production.
