# Let a question stay private
A private reading question does not need to become a public plot summary.
Contents
- Write the question in your own words.
- Attach its page privately.
- For discussion, share only the agreed scene cue.
Invented example: Private: why hide the ticket? Shared cue: the station desk through p.33.
TabMap for iPhone and iPad: manually mark the page, choose Keep, Felt, Clue or Discuss, and add an optional private note. One complete book map is free; no app account required.
Developer disclosure: I build TabMap. AI assisted this original exercise; all examples are invented. You can also use paper. No measured reading benefit is claimed.
