# Print-Farm Filament Batch Acceptance Record
Prepared by the FilamentBay Materials Team
Contents
Complete this record before distributing incoming spools across a farm. Define what can be released and which evidence supports that decision. This worksheet does not specify a certified sampling plan; the process owner must choose sample count and spool selection according to the consequences of failure.
Receiving record/date: __________ Approver: __________
| Traceability | Entry |
|---|---|
| Supplier and purchase reference | __________ |
| Grade, color, nominal diameter and spool identifiers | __________ |
| Stated lot code, or explicitly absent | __________ |
| Packaging condition and photographs | __________ |
| Documents received and exact grade/SKU/lot covered | __________ |
Keep missing information visible. A shipment date is not a substitute for a supplier lot code, and documentation for another grade cannot release this batch. Separate mixed or untraceable material until its scope is resolved.
Choose a retained reference with a known label, storage history and approved project. Record conditioning for both reference and incoming material, including the schedule actually used and exposure afterward. Otherwise, different moisture histories may confound the comparison.
| Planned check | Acceptance basis agreed beforehand | Observation/evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Label and purchase specification | __________ | __________ |
| Diameter spot readings and method | __________ | __________ |
| Color under named lighting/reference | __________ | __________ |
| Representative fit or function | __________ | __________ |
| Feeding and preparation consistency | __________ | __________ |
Reference project, printer, nozzle and inspection tool: __________
Sample selection and count: __________
Use equivalent printer condition, orientation and inspection methods for reference and incoming prints. If an adjustment is necessary, record it explicitly and decide whether it needs separate qualification rather than silently tuning away a difference. Retain failed samples and the relevant project alongside accepted evidence.
Disposition: release identified scope / quarantine / request clarification: __________
Released spool identifiers and record location: __________
Failed criterion, supplier question and follow-up owner: __________
A few diameter readings do not establish an entire spool’s distribution or a shipment defect rate. Release only the scope supported by the agreed checks; an attractive factory photograph or a cost estimate cannot replace that evidence.
