# An Insulation Supplier Enquiry Cover Sheet
Prepared by Insulvora Editorial Team.
Contents
Use one cover sheet to keep the scope of an insulation enquiry visible. The cover sheet should identify the enquiry, its current revision and the person coordinating replies. Attach the actual material schedule rather than compressing every requirement into the cover note.
# Essential references
| Item | Record |
|---|---|
| Enquiry reference | A unique project and enquiry identifier |
| Scope revision | Issue date and revision number |
| Schedule | Filename and revision of the quantity table |
| Technical basis | Specification or drawing references |
| Documents requested | Required product and shipment information |
| Reply date | When the buyer needs the quotation |
| Destination | Delivery country and location relevant to the offer |
Before sending the enquiry, check that the schedule uses explicit units. Separate confirmed requirements from questions that still need the project team’s answer. Tell the supplier how to identify assumptions, exclusions and alternatives in its reply.
Keep the same cover sheet with the received quotation. When the scope changes, issue a new revision and ask the supplier to acknowledge it. This makes later price comparisons easier to trace.
