# Planning a tire-wear inspection

Uneven tire wear is easier to discuss when you know which wheel is affected and whether the pattern appears on the inner edge, outer edge, or across the tread. Photograph the pattern and note any vibration or steering pull. A technician can then inspect tires, alignment, and suspension as appropriate.
